I can not remember who gave this picture to me. Anyway, the flowers were nice -- and Gwen did have clothes on behind those daisies!
See more pictures of Bucky on the Pets page.
Those amaryllises did not have much of a floral scent.
Neither did the women at the End of the Pavement. We did not wear much perfume. Gomer hated it and so did many of the other men.
Photo submitted by Gwen Garrett
Gomer, Gwen, Ab, and Trish went to New Liberty Baptist Church on this Easter Sunday in the mid 1980s..
The End of the Pavement was getting ready for full time residents. Gwen moved her trailer in and made it a home.
Ab and Trish are intent on hearing their mom so it must have been interesting.
James Rich on the far right was determined to get in the picture. He was a little comedian, always full of energy. See more pictures of James on Eddie and Marie's page.
Joe and Gwen looked good in black and white.
I loved the fedora -- it went perfectly with his facial hair. These two siblings were happy to reunite during Joe's vacation. He came all the way from Texas for a visit.
Joe was Gwen's baby brother. He was always a lot of fun and it was a sad day for us when he moved off to Texas.
Anisley was with her family -- all the way from Texas for a visit.
Rebecca, Donny, and other members of Gwen's family were visiting the End of the Pavement. They came all the way from Texas.
He was visiting from Texas on this day at the End of the Pavement.
Gwen was in style for the times, but looking back -- what were we thinking? I also had a mullet for a while. I know it is hard to believe but the photos are living proof.
The shorter Gwen wore her hair, the better I liked it.
I want to see the movies.
Gwen and Bucky were never far apart. That dog would have killed anyone that bothered his master and I think Gwen would have done the same for him.
Gwen and Bucky are playing -- maybe they are dancing!
See picture's of Gwen's kids on Gomer's page.
