Our kids got their wheels early. Instead of Jeeps and pickups, they drove golf carts once their feet could reach the pedals.
They wore a track at the End of the Pavement -- round and round they went at top speed. A few adults got in on the action. One guy even got a DUI when he decided to drive his golf cart home while intoxicated.
Risley was taking advantage of a pit full of sand and a break in the horseshoe games.
Carol had her precious cargo in a little red wagon.
Look at little Jason! He gave me the most curious look.
Why walk when you can ride?
Katie, Samantha, and the guys are having a ball riding the roads in a red cart. Cheers!
Cody rode like the best of them -- keeping up with the older boys. This sweet boy belonged to Stacey and Curtis -- two of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.
These boys had a lot of fun at the End of the Pavement. I bet they have moved on to motorcycles and pickup trucks by now.
Calab had must moved up from a bicycle to a 4-wheeler. Here he is speeding around the End of the Pavement.
I don't know what Edgar is up to here, but I suppose he might be fixing to gather up some firewood.
Edgar's boys were regulars at the End of the Pavement -- they all grew up almost next door. Edgar came to throw shoes occasionally. We all loved his man.
I don't know if Edgar left his tractor and wagon for someone to use or if he was visiting and just parked it there.
Charlie usually drove a pickup or a red volkswagen bug.
