These kids made life long memories at Trout Camp. They went fishing, built campfires, roasted marshmallows, and camped out in tents.
James attended Trout Camp from the time he was a toddler.
He was so proud of his fish -- and I don't blame him. Many adults could not get a bite.
I think he was putting his catch in a bucket.
He was a good boy that loved to hang out with his dad. Brian, Keith, and Rose were regulars at Trout Camp.
She loved camping more than any girl I have ever known.
All kids got prizes including candy, fishing poles, water pistols, frisbees, and other toys.
She caught some trout with that little rod and reel.
Lisa thought it was funny that Jill had a giant house fly on her shoulder.
She gave it to one of the younger kids.
Frank took his girls everywhere. They were never far from their daddy.
My favorite food at Trout Camp was a Smore -- graham crackers, chocolate, and hot marshmallows mashed into a sticky, gooey mess. I was not the only one who liked these sweet treats.
We never had any accidents or broken bones!
Lisa posed while Billy B turned the meat on the cooker. People and wild animals could smell the aroma of that BBQ for miles around. I guess all the noise helped keep the bears away.
That tent looked like it was really comfortable.
Lisa and other kids got candy and toys. Yes the Easter Bunny found us at Trout Camp.
Rose looked like she needed cheering up.
Richard let her wear his gray sweater. At least she stayed warm!
He was just a little fellow -- I think Lisa loaned him that bicycle.
Camping improved appetite and made everything taste better. It was the fresh air and wood smoke.
To get the big ones, you had to sneak up on them.
Jessica and Rose were colorful and cozy in their windproof jackets. They even matched the tarps!
All the kids had a ball and made life-long memories.
That Frisbee was a hit with the kids. We had to watch out or it would hit us in the head. I think it finally landed in the river and washed away down stream.
Looks like the water was clear and cold.
