George Seabolt at the End of the Pavement
By Janice Boling

George was a regular at the End of the Pavement.

George was easy going and although he sipped a lot of beer, we never saw him drunk.

This man was kind-hearted, a loving father, and a good friend.

He poured a lot of concrete in and around Union County and was often covered in cement splatters from head to toe.

George was a sharp dressed man on Sundays. No splatters or stains of any kind.

George was also a horseshoe pitching champion. He won more than one trophy and some money playing in our horseshoe tournaments.

George had one child with Alice -- a son. Jeremy was a good kid that loved to throw shoes, hunt, and fish. Guess who he got that from?

Alice and George were together for many years. The whole family spent lots of time at the End of the Pavement.
